“I was amazed at how quickly my wife received a consultation and how easy it was to communicate with the physicians and hospital staff. After the evaluation, the physician encouraged us to continue our vacation and visit his office the day before we left to make sure Jill was feeling better to travel home to Phoenix,” said Rob. Jill was equally impressed, “I was so scared about going to a hospital in Mexico, but once inside, I realized that it was one of the cleanest facilities I had ever seen.”
Ahwatukee residents Jill and Rob Flansburg experienced this exact situation while in Mexico. Jill, who also has another medical condition, suffered a partial paralysis of her face, while vacationing in Kino Bay, Mexico March, 2004. Scared to seek medical advice, Jill and Rob relied on the information that their Primary Care Physician, Dr. Robert H. Page had previously given to them in case of an emergency. He had guided them to one of Mexico’s best hospitals. Within minutes, Jill was escorted to an exam room where she had two physicians (Emergency Room Physician and a Nuerosurgeon) evaluate her condition.
